We're an Authorised Inspection Station for light vehicles and trailers up to 4,500 kg. Book online, bring your documents, and we'll get you registered or back on the road. Not sure it'll pass? Ask for a pre-DOT check first.

A family business in Serpentine's oldest garage
Brendan and Lisa Gale started Speedy Spanners in 2012 with a single mobile service van. In 2017 they bought the historic garage built in 1934 by Harvey Hicks — home of "Serpentine 1", the town's only telephone, where locals gathered for news during the war.
Today it's a renovated workshop and community hub, with the Small Torque Coffee House on site for great coffee, pies and sweet treats while you wait.
