Even the best designed vehicles will loose approximately 10% of their refrigerant gas in their air conditioning systems annually.

When Speedy Spanners completes a vehicles air conditioning service, we use R124a automotive refrigerant gas. We also offer another automotive refrigerant gas that is newer technology - R1234yf refrigerant. This refrigerant breaks down much faster in our upper atmosphere, contributing to less greenhouse gasses. During the air conditioning service, we responsibly reclaim and dispose of old refrigerant - we do not let it enter the atmosphere. We add ultraviolet dye into the refrigerant upon re-gassing, so that if any leaks develop in the future, the location of the leak will be visible under blue light.
